I recently stayed at Fortel in Old San Juan for 4 nights and had an amazing experience. The staff were friendly and always available for any inquiries. The hostel is clean, well-equipped, and in a prime location in the center of Old San Juan. It was easy to meet other travelers and explore the town. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers.

My second trip to this hostel was just as fantastic as the first. Carlos, the staff member, was incredibly sweet and made my stay even more enjoyable. The other guests were all amazing women and I felt instantly welcomed. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and smelled great. The central location provided a truly historic and cultural experience. Jaye, another staff member, was a fantastic host and we even had a fun night of singing, dancing, and toasting with rum. the friendly atmosphere and great location make this hostel a must-stay for anyone visiting San Juan!

I got great value for my money at this brand new hostel in the heart of Old San Juan. The room was beautifully decorated, the staff, especially Carlo, went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city.

Breakfast option could have been better, but overall, I had a wonderful stay.

The location of this hostel is perfect! Just a short walk to Starbucks, a wonderful Puerto Rican restaurant that serves great mofongo, and one of the historical forts. the staff is super nice and the common area is perfect for those who need to work. the hostel is clean and I really enjoyed my stay here.

I recently stayed at Fortel Hostel for a week while exploring Old San Juan. The beautiful and brand-new decor, along with the well-equipped and clean bathrooms made my stay comfortable. The staff, especially Carlo, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great trip. Carlo even drove me to the ferry terminal in Ceiba, saving me time and money. His kindness and helpful suggestions for the rest of my trip made my experience unforgettable. The location of the hostel was unbeatable, close to all the sights and restaurants. I would highly recommend Fortel for its convenience, cleanliness, and amazing staff.
